The Riverside Dam is located at the Riverside Park in Cambridge. Part of this dam may date to 1864, built by local A.A. Erb with a mill run leading to what became Cambridge Mills. The dam has a pair of control towers built around 1890 and is approximately 66 meters long.
Today the dam's fate is uncertain as it is in need of costly repairs or it could fail. Recent council meetings leaning towards demolishing the dam and re-naturalizing the area.
