The lunar and volcanic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park still register volcanic activity. Reaching temperatures of up to 600 ° C in some places. This is what park staff demonstrate in a series of outdoor activities. One of them is as on the surface the substrate can reach 120 °, a worker with a shovel takes a shovel of volcanic pebbles (bauxite) and will give you a handful, which you will have to "make dance" from hand to hand so as not to burn yourself. Is hery hot!
Scientific Principle(s) being demonstrated: the earth burns
