About Louis Raemaekers:
"Louis Raemaekers was a Dutch sketcher / artist. During the First World War he became widely known as a political cartoonist, first with his prints in De Telegraaf, later for the publications he made for the British propaganda agency Wellington House. After the death of Louis Raemaekers in July 1956, an obituary appeared in The Times (London): 'It is said that Louis Raemaekers was the only private person who had a real and profound influence on the course of the First World War. There were a dozen people—emperors, kings, statesmen, and army chiefs—who undeniably made the policy and took the lead. But outside that circle of greats, Louis Raemaekers was the only man who, without title or status – and without any doubt – determined the fate of peoples."

One of the pictures on this website shows a newspaper article (I added it as a photo in the gallery). It shows that the Germans had put a 12.000 German Marks (Currency) bounty on Louis Raemakaers head/death.
The Dutch Library has a book in its collection; Louis Raemaekers, met pen en potlood als wapen (with pen and pencil as wapen). You can rent it here (you need to have a library card/be a member).
