This Stained Glass Window is part of the back wall of Phosa L. McMasters mausoleum.
Phosa McMaster is described as a “spinster music teacher who lived comfortably with income form [sic] the McMaster farms”. Phosa is said to have been a lover of wild and domestic flora and fauna, according to the Belvidere Cemetery Historic Tour.
The two main symbols in this window are a torch and a wreath. Torches are used to symbolize enlightenment and hope. Wreaths symbolize the circle of eternal life.
