Roughly 10 kilometres west of Rock Creek along Highway 3, on the inside of a curve, is a good sized rock cut on the north side of the highway. Just east of that is a group of broken rock. Just east of that is an exposure of bedrock, on the south face of which is 1492J, about a metre below the highway and relatively easy to spy. A quick and easy benchmark find!
