The Blythe-Rhone Road parallels Highway 33, which runs between Rock Creek and Kelowna. The community of Rhone is about 21 kilometres north of Rock Creek. 79C418 will be found monumented in a rectangular concrete retaining wall on the west side of the road, at road level. The retaining wall is about 5 feet tall, the more northerly of two in close proximity, with 79C418 centered near its bottom.
