This milestone can be found on the A91 road in north-east Fife, just west of the village of Guardbridge on the north verge of the road.

The milestone is typical of those in the area, painted white whinstone with a cast-iron cap bearing the placenames in black cursive abbreviated script.

The two placenames are the ancient coastal town of St.Andrews, and the market town of Cupar.
