According to their website:
"Since 1968 there has been a Russian Orthodox parish in Groningen, part of the Moscow Patriarchate. The Russian Orthodox Church, like the Greek Orthodox Church, the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Romanian Orthodox Church and other Orthodox national churches, belongs to the Eastern Orthodox Churches. They are the continuation of the tradition of the undivided Christian Church of the first centuries, which in 1054 was separated into the Eastern Orthodox Churches on the one hand and the Roman Catholic Church on the other.
The parish in Groningen in our country is one of six Russian Orthodox churches (including two monasteries) under the Moscow jurisdiction. Throughout the Netherlands there are a total of 40 places where Orthodox worship services are held. The Groningen parish consists of a mixed group of Orthodox believers from various countries, in addition to a group of Dutch people who have become Orthodox at a later age (including both priests)."
