"The Jameos del Agua in Lanzarote are natural areas of volcanic origin located in the north of the island, in the municipality of Haría.
It is one of the Island's Art, Culture and Tourism Centers.
It is a rehabilitated and remodeled space by Cesar Manrique and managed by the Cabildo de Lanzarote.
In 1960 the conditioning and cleaning of the place was carried out and it was in 1966 when the first phases were opened to the public.
In 1977 the general structure of the Jameos was formed and the center was inaugurated.
This space also has an Auditorium with a capacity of 550 spectators that hosts events such as opera performances, plays, dance shows, concerts, cinema, conferences, etc."
