At Borgarsyssel Museum in Sarpsborg, there is a newer Foucault Pendulum at the entrance.
The museum was inaugurated by King Harald on July 29, 2016 and there you could also see the new Foucault Pendulum. The current exhibition space is about time, how time passes and there is history from the Stone Age to the present.
There is no technical information about this new Foucault Pendulum. The base plate is blue with stars, and information in Norwegian and English about what a Foucault Pendulum is. The ball itself looks like steel.
In Motala in Sweden, which is also at latitude N59, the rotation time is 28 hours, so it must be the same rotation time here.
