The Grey Mare's Tail waterfall is a 50 metre high cascade that plunges down from the Mamore Mountains in the West Highlands of Scotland above the village of Kinlochleven at the head of Loch Leven.
The waterfall is the third largest in Scotland, and can be reached from the car park adjacent to St Paul's Church. A signposted route heads north up the hillside to the Allt Coire na Bà, the stream that flows southwards from the mountains , eventually taking the final plunge towards the village.
The fall can be viewed from below within the bed of the stream, taking care on the slippery rocks.
