cultural-historical relic
A stone arch bridge, 10 m long, 3m wide and 1,0 m high that cross the Matterödså (stream). There is two arches that is 1,5m long and 1,0 m high. The bridge is built of stacked granite in 1786 by ”Thomelierna”.
From the beginning, the bridge only had one arch but in 1880 the bridge was flooded by water from the river so it had to be extended with one more arch.
The bridge was in use for traffic to 1980 after that the bridge was decay until 2021 then it was restored and the walkway was covered with crushed asphalt, the bridge is in use but only for walking/bicycle.
