The Marlin is meant to great visitors and tourist from U.S. 50 into Ocean City. It appears to be made out of aluminum and is about 10 feet tall. There are no dedication plaques or signs specific about this particular piece other than a generic one commemorating public art in the city.The plaque says, "In Memory Of: Barry H. Berger * Beatrice W. Harrison * Katherine L. Hough * Michael Gorman Mann"
