Once a popular watering hole along the Chisholm Trail, Government Springs Park later became one of Enid's first city parks. Park visitors today enjoy park shelters, walking trails, fishing docks and even a waterfall on the prairie. The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center (another Official Local Tourist Attraction) is just east of the park.
