Located on the east-central side of the cemetery is a 72-ft. dressed limestone tower which was erected in 1928. American Legion Post 35, Oklahoma City, laid the cornerstone for the Tower of Memories on Armistice Day, 1928. Completed in 1929, the tower had a carillon that played on Sunday afternoons and holidays until the late 1970's. At that time, the carillon needed major repair and was removed. It has been replaced by a digital system reproducing the original carillon sound. The Avenue leading to the Tower is lined with flowers and a reflecting pool in the center.
A large cornerstone is located at the base of the tower which reads:
