This U.S. Geological Survey Bench Mark disk gives the local elevation as 1359 feet. It is tucked under a cedar tree just off a dirt road. At this time there was also a geocache (an ammo can) right by the monument. This is an elevation disk, with ELEVATION ABOVE SEA and FEET already inscribed. The stamping is 6960 above that text, 1359 in the elevation field, and 40 ES below. This disk is not in the NGS database.
