Masonic Lodge #30 was one of the first buildings constructed in Towanda. The cornerstone bears the years 1904 and (as is typical for Masonic cornerstones) the A. L. year, 5904.) Another plaque indicates that the building was re-dedicated as a Grand Lodge in 2004; the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in that same year. The building now houses the Towanda Area Historical Musuem. The Museum is open 11:00 - 5:00 on Saturdays, 2:00 - 5:00 on Sundays.
