This school house was constructed in about 1900, on a site about twenty miles west of El Reno near the South Canadian River. It replaced a log cabin that had served as the first school in the area. The school house served all grades until it was superseded by the development of modern school districts. The building, still relatively intact, was moved to this location in 1976 and restored. The interior depicts the way the school appeared in the fifties.
