It has been a while since this one was reported on.
Lots of things change in a few years.
It is still green but now has the New Mexico Sun Logo on it.
Portales has grown vastly since my younger days of adventures through here.
It is cool to now go back and relive Old Adventures.
Make sure to stop and eat.
I like Mexican food.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1975 (JRS) THE STATION, PORTALES SOUTH MUNICIPAL WATER TANK, IS THE CENTER OF THE TOP OF AN OVAL, ELEVATED WATER TANK, THAT IS SUPPORTED BY 6 LEGS. THE STRUCTURE HAS AN OVERALL HEIGHT OF 140 FEET AND IS PRESENTLY PAINTED GREEN WITH THE LETTERING PORTALES-GREYHOUND AND A PICTURE OF A GREYHOUND DOG APPEARING IN BLACK ON ITS SIDE. IT IS LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST ANGLE OF THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH AVENUE I AND WEST 17TH LANE IN PORTALES.
