In 2002, the U.S. Postal Service issued a set of 50 stamps featuring designs similar to vintage “Greetings from…” post cards, one from each of the 50 states. Besides Niagara Falls and the Statue of Liberty (and a few spotlights) the “Greetings from New York” stamp includes a view of the New York City skyline.
The most prominent buildings seen on the stamp are 70 Pine St. (1932, former Cities Service Bldg.), 40 Wall St. (1930 – former Bank of Manhattan Trust Bldg.), 28 Liberty St. (1961 – former One Chase Manhattan Plaza) and 60 Wall St. (1989).
