This is a two-story stucco-clad building with a full basement. The roof is hipped with a tile roof. It was built by Dieter & Wenzil Co. out of Joplin, MO at a cost of $46,000. At the time it was placed on the National Register in 1978, it was vacant. It had served as the Kingfisher Post Office for decades. The City of Kingfisher was attempting to buy it for a public library. Today, it is occupied by Briscoe Oil Company.
It is located on the southwest corner of Main Street (Highway 81) and Robberts Street. The main entrance faces east and has two brass and glass doors. The entrance and the flanking segmented window units have slightly arched lintels. Windows on the first floor are set in singles, with smaller windows on the second level. The roof line has deep eaves, with cornice brackets.
