"Rode nr. 38", Haslev, SEAS.
"Rode nr. 38 var det første af SEAS' transformatortårne. Den 29. april 1914 blev der første gang tændt for dampturbinerne på elværket i Haslev på Sydsjælland, og det elektriske lys blev via transformatortårnet tændt hos gårdejeren på Rodegaard.
SEAS brugte disse små gulkalkede tårne af beton og røde tegl i hele deres forsyningsområde. Tårnet blev nedtaget i 1996.

About the tower:
"Rode nr. 38" Haslev, Southern Zealand, 1914
This tower was the very first one built by Southern Zealand Electricity Company (SEAS).
On the 29th of April 1914 the steam turbines started for the first time at the power plant in Haslev, and the electric ligth was switched at the farm in Rodegaard. These small, yellow concrete and red tile towers were used all over southern Zeland, Lolland and Falster. The tower was retired in 1996.
