A statue of the famous race horse Seabiscuit is located on the grounds of the National Racing Museum and Hall Of Fame at 191 Union Avenue in Saratoga Springs, NY.

A life-size bronze statue of Seabiscuit depicts the race horse with his head turned slightly to the right while standing on all four legs on a bronze plinth with the inscription SEABISCUIT on the front. The statue was created by Tex Hughlette Wheeler in 1941 and placed at the newly created National Racing Museum in 1950. When the museum was expanded in 2000 it was once again relocated to the east side of the building.

The statue is set on a rectangular, polished, black granite base the front of which has a laurel wreath and the inscription:

SEABISCUIT
1933 - 1947

The side of the base has the inscription:

BISCUIT'S COURAGE, HONESTY AND PHYSICAL
PROWESS DEFINITELY PLACE HIM AMONG THE
THOROUGHBRED IMMORTALS OF TURF HISTORY.
HE HAD INTELLIGENCE AND UNDERSTANDING
ALMOST SPIRITUAL IN QUALITY.

Santa Anita Handicap. Seabiscuit retired
with-world-record earnings of $437,780.
