The Burke Lake Railroad has been in service since 1967. It covers 1.75 miles in roughly 10 minutes while going roughly 10-12 miles per hour. In 2005, the Central Pacific Huntington steam engine was retired and replaced with a replica C.P. Huntington that can go a whole day without refueling.
