1940s Street Scene of Dawson Creek show five scenes on the side of the Dawson Creek Denture Clinic. This mural was completed in 2000 by Missy Klassen, Christa Krodel and Jeremy Beaulne. In 1942, the Alaska Highway began construction from Dawson Creek, British Columbia Mile "0", to Fairbanks, Alaska and was completed in just eight months. Several scenes show Army Engineers and soldiers who came to Dawson Creek to work on the Alaska Highway.

Other scenes show DW Faust Contractor and Builder and the Community Store suppling hardware, groceries and dry good.
