The writing team of Lindsay and Crouse have written some of the most memorial Broadway shows ever created. In addition to the credits mentioned in the sign, the writing team of Lindsay and Crouse won the Tony Award for Best Musical for The Sound of Music in 1960. The husband and wife team of Lindsay and Dorothy Stickney also played the King and Queen in the PBS revival of the musical Cinderella.
