Fossil hunt on the beach and the break-off edge of the famous chalk coast on the Baltic Sea island of Rügen.
A wide variety of fossils can be found on the beach and the break-off edge of the chalk cliff in the east of the Baltic Sea island of Rügen.
Among other things, the following fossils can be found with a little luck: Sea urchins, mussels, sponges, sea urchin spines and thunderbolts. It is also possible to find amber.
The best time to collect fossils is between February and April.
Searching the cliff itself is, of course, strictly prohibited due to the danger of demolition.
