Hungerford Nature Reserve - Bursledon - Public Access Lands on Waymarking.com

Just down the hill from the Fox and Hounds, past where the footpath crosses the road is the Hungerford Nature Reserve.
Owned by Bursledon Parish Council it was originally the middle allotments (the top allotments are opposite the Fox and Hounds and the bottom allotments are further down into Hungerford). When it was discovered that due to natural springs the ground was too wet to work it was changed into a nature reserve. In dry weather there is a loop that you can walk around, in wet weather it's best left to nature!
