[CZ] Od vodní kaple nahoru ke kostelu místo cesty, která dríve protínala valy vede nyní široké schodište, rozdelené železným zábradlím na dve cásti pro výstup a sestup. Podnet k této stavbe dál bývalý predseda Matice svatohostýnské, lékárník Harna z Kromeríže v roce 1909. 221 schodu pískovcových vylomeno bylo na Cernave za Hostýnem a ostatních 29 je že slezské žuly. Celkem stala stavba schodu 40 tisíc korun, které byly z vetší cásti uhrazeny milodary. Kdo chtel si zakoupiti jeden schod, složil 100 K a jeho jméno bylo pak vytesáno do kamene na vecnou pamet. Vecnou? Nikoliv! Zub casu snaží se usilovne zahladiti stopy lidské ješitnosti, takže vetšina jmen je už málo citelná.
