The monument consists of a statue of a soldier standing on a plinth made of light granite, with a hanging flag paying homage to three separate monuments set in the lawn. The statue from 1977 is the work of R. Svoboda. A sad red army man holding a rolled up banner. The sculpture was cast in the "Závody umelecké kovovýroby, n.p. ZUKOV". The work was modeled in the spirit of socialist realism in the 1980s.
The monument includes three low stone walls with memorial plaques, which commemorate the fighting sites of regular armies, guerrillas, civilians and victims of concentration camps.
