Two identical full-length female figures representing the Goddess of Liberty. Each wears a full-length gown and holds a raised torch in her right hand. Each figure holds a shield close to her body in her proper left hand.

The sculptures are reproductions of original zinc sculptures which were installed on the courthouse in 1897-1898. The originals have since been lost or destroyed. The reproductions were created as part of the courthouse renovation project.
