The Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail is a 2.4 mile trail that takes users through the 4,273 foot trail tunnel that opened as a trail in the fall of 2020. The eastern trailhead follows the old railroad bed from the former depot (now a law office) to the eastern entrance of the tunnel and continues until the western end of the trail.
This end of the trail is very level and the easier of the two trailheads for those who just want to walk to the tunnel and back.
