The town of Montrose lies on the east coast of Scotland in the north-eastern part of the county of Angus. A baptist church was formed here in 1937 in a building on Murray Lane in the centre of town. This building was vacated, and the congregation moved north during the 1970s to the recently built district of Borrowfield on the northern outskirts.
The church is situated on Coronation Way on the western side of the street, and features sandstone coloured breeze-block walls with a large steeply sloping roof which almost reaches the ground. The gable ends are timber-clad.
Service Times: Sunday 10.45am & 6.00pm. Thursday, prayers & bible study 7.00pm.
