The aircraft displayed here in front of the American legion is a subsonic jet trainer T-33 Shooting Star. It was used by the U.S. Navy and then Bolivian Airforce, who retired it in July of 2017. The aircraft was designed by Kelly Johnson who designed the P-38, U-2, F-104, and the SR-71.
