In celebration of the 350th anniversary of the Town of Suffield, a barn quilt trail was established throughout the town. Some painted barn quilts are bases on traditional patterns and others are more modern in their design.
Diane Christian created this complex design of an eight pointed star within an octagon by using three different combinations of triangles and parallelograms - a red parallelogram with tiny white hearts, a white triangle with red polka dots, a white triangle with a red square grid. The corners of the design are blue triangles with a puffy white cloud design.
Your Visit:
This painted barn quilt is on the east side of North Grand Street. It is on a red utility barn located south of the owners home and set back about 200 feet east of the road. However, it can bee seen through the trees.
