Old Sturbridge Village is a living history museum in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. It is made up of mostly relocated antique structures with some modern reproductions, set up to look like a New England town from 1830.
One relocated structure is the barn at the Freeman Farm. According to the museum website, the barn was built c. 1840 and relocated from Charlton, MA. It was relocated in 1950.
This barn is still used as a barn! Despite being part of a museum, it is still used to house animals and farm implements. Old Sturbridge Village is home to cows, horses, sheep, and chickens. It also has a second story used for storage and hay.
