In celebration of the 350th anniversary of the Town of Suffield, a barn quilt trail was established throughout the town. Some painted barn quilts are bases on traditional patterns and others are more modern in their design.
The "Tobacco Leaf Kaleidoscope" barn quilt was created by Lynne Kuzontkoski. Four tobacco leaves all starting at the same central spot point to the four sides of a square. Surrounding the leaves is a symmetrical pattren of geometric shapes in white, black purple, blue and light green that form the kaleidoscope.
Your Visit: The "Tobacco Leaf Kaleidoscope" barn quilt is located on a huge, four part tobacco barn that is painted red. The 130' long barn is on the south side of Sheldon Street. Since all the colors of the quilt contrast with the barn it is very noticeable from the road on the east end the barn.
