Cette sculpture de l'ours est l'oeuvre de l'artiste sculpteur Philippe Charbonneau de la Fonderie Laperle. Cette sculpture a été donné à la ville de Saint-Ours dans le cadre des festivités du 150ième anniversaire de sa fondation. Cet ours se veut un clin d'oeil à l'ancienne fontaine des trois ours en bois et c'est aussi la reproduction de l'ours présent sur les armoiries de la ville.

This bear sculpture is the work of artist sculptor Philippe Charbonneau of the Laperle Foundry. This sculpture was donated to the town of Saint-Ours as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations of its founding. This bear is a nod to the old fountain of the three wooden bears and it is also the reproduction of the bear present on the coat of arms of the city.
