This large memorial plaza is located on the north side of Fairlawn Cemetery.

This is a memorial plaza located in Fairlawn Cemetery, and situated just east of the chapel. This is a stone plaza approximately 24 ft. by 48 feet. There are five metal rafters over the plaza, four at the north end where there are ten stone benches, and one at the south end, with four benches. One of the rafters has metal seals of the five branches of the military. The plaza is used for Memorial Day and Veterans Day services, as well as for funerals of veterans. An American flag flies over the plaza.
The memorial was sponsored by the citizens of Elk City, with donations matched by the City. Along the walkway leading to the plaza is a plaque with the dedication and a list of the citizen sponsors. The plaza was completed in 2007. The plaque reads:
