This modest Veterans Memorial is at the northwest corner of the Velma Town Hall. The memorial consists of a plaque mounted in a red-brick monument and three flagpoles.

In honor of those who served our country in the Armed Forces to preserve our freedom and in memory of those named below who gave the supreme sacrifice.

Description of Memorial:
The memorial is a plaque set within a red brick wall. The plaque bears the inscription above, the names of the four wars listed, and the names of those veterans lost in those wars. To the east of the memorial are three flagpoles for the US, Oklahoma, and Velma flags.
