This is a black granite bench, slightly curved which stands alongside the walkway in front of the high school. It is dedicated in memory of a teacher, Kathy Judkins (4/9/1957 - 4/23/2011) who taught at Rush Spring High School. Her obituary says she was very fond on gardening, animals and reading. The quote on the bench gives the impression that she had a great rapport with her students. It reads:
In loving memory of
Katy Judkins
We will miss you "everyday,
everyday, everyday!"
