Considered to be the oldest on Main Street, in 1917 this brick-structured building is reported to have survived a devastating fire that burned the first block of Main Street to ash. Although it has served as the city's Chamber of Commerce for many years, it was also Safety Harbor's first Town Hall and later, a bank. The Chamber was established at 200 Main Street in 1930.
During its Town Hall years, there were two holding cells on the property in the back area of this building. No one remembers seeing a person ever locked in one, but local children were reported to play in the cells.
