In the middle of Waalwijk, next to the St Jan de Doper Church, you can find this cemetery. There are approx 900 graves.
A part of the cemetery is dedicated to those who lost their lievs during World War II. One of the pictures, shows the headstone of the soldiers.

Mayor Moonen and the brothers Vincent and Joop Hoffmans were executed on September 6, 1944 by the Germans on the square near the City Hall. Of these two brothers, Vincent miraculously survived.
