[FR] Un terril (prononcez « terri »), c’est une petite montagne artificielle construite par accumulation des résidus miniers lors de l’extraction de charbon. Certains ont été aménagés pour devenir des lieux de promenade et de pratique sportive.
Aménagé pour faciliter l’ascension, le terril n°74a vous offre un formidable panorama à 360° sur le Bassin minier. Un plateau à mi-hauteur vous permettra de faire une pause, et pour les plus courageux, il reste une cinquantaine de mètres pour accéder au sommet (attention, la pente est raide !).
Accès par le parking de la base 11/19, rue Léon Blum à Loos-en-Gohelle.
[EN] Managed to facilitate climbing, the slag heap number 74a offers an amazing 360° panorama over the Mining Basin. Half way up there is a place to stop and rest and for the more ambitious, only some 50 meters remain to the summit (careful, the slope is steep!)
Access is via the parking at the Base 11/19, rue Léon Blum at Loos-en-Gohelle.
