Once you are signed up, you will receive regular call ups to donate blood or plasma.

In the Netherlands one is a selfless blood donor, which means that one does not receive any money or other reward for the blood given. At milestones such as donating 5, 10 and 20 times, you will receive a symbolic token of thanks. Many blood donors see the fact that donating blood serves a social purpose as a form of reward in itself.
