This wood footbridge along Farnsworth Trail crosses McGovern Brook in the Cook Conservation Area of Lancaster, Massachusetts. It was constructed in 2019 and designated as a memorial by Lancaster Friends of the Nashua River.

This wood footbridge along Farnsworth Trail crosses McGovern Brook in the Cook Conservation Area of Lancaster, Massachusetts -- about 0.4 mile west of the trailhead parking area at Route 70/Lunenberg Road. The 50-foot long transit was constructed in 2019 and designated as a memorial by Lancaster Friends of the Nashua River. On the day of my visit, three plaques were fastened to the north handrail at its east end. From right to left, they are:
