Dieses wunderschöne Tor führt in den Nürnberger Westfriedhof.
Es wurde 1878 im neobarocken Stil errichtet.
Zur Straße hin trägt es die Inschrift "Der Staub zum Staube, Der Geist zu Gott". Auf der anderen Seite trägt es die Inschrift "Begonnen 1878, Vollendet 1884".
Durch seine reichhaltige Ornamentierung und seine Größe fällt es sofort auf.
Das Tor ist aus Eisen gefertigt, der Torbogen aus Stein.

This beautiful gate leads into the Nuremberg western cemetary.
It was built in 1878 in neo-baroque style.
On the outside, it has the inscription "Der Staub zum Staube, der Geist zu Gott" (The dust to dust, the spirit to God). On the other side, it has the inscription "Begonnen 1878, Vollendet 1884" (started 1878, finalized 1884).
Because of its rich ornamenting and its size, it is visually outstanding.
The gate is made of iron, the arch is made out of stone.
