The Agawam Public Library is separated from the Agawam High School by a steep earthen slope. In order to stabilize and beautify the slope a riprap wall was was constructed and the area above the wall was terraced and landscaped as an eagle service project by Nicholas R. Cormier of Troop 185, sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Agawam. .

An aluminum plaque set on a flat stone identified the Eagle Service project Nicholas R. Cormier. The plaque is inscribed:
