Ce n'est pas hier mais bien aujourd'hui que les bus des Transports urbains thiernois (TUT) devraient commencer à utiliser le nouvel arrêt installé place Chastel pour remplacer celui de la rue Terrasse.
Dans un communiqué relayé dans notre édition du 20 avril, la mairie avait annoncé la mise en route de l'arrêt de la place Chastel pour lundi mais l'information n'était, semble-t-il, pas arrivée jusqu'aux services des TUT.
« Pour l'instant, le poteau avec les horaires n'a pas été déplacé de l'arrêt de la rue Terrasse à celui de la place Chastel, nous sommes donc dans un moment de flottement. À partir de mardi (NDLR : aujourd'hui), nous allons commencer à nous arrêter place Chastel pour déposer les passagers et prendre ceux qui attendraient là. Nous continuerons à faire un arrêt rue Terrasse jusqu'à ce que le poteau soit déplacé par les services municipaux », a indiqué Christian Sermèze, chef de mouvement des TUT.

It was not yesterday but today that the buses of the Transports urbains thiernois (TUT) should start using the new stop installed at Place Chastel to replace the one on Rue Terrasse.
In a press release published in our edition of April 20, the city hall had announced that the bus stop at Place Chastel would be operational on Monday, but the information had apparently not reached the TUT services.
"For the moment, the pole with the timetable has not been moved from the Terrasse Street stop to the Chastel Square stop, so we are in a state of flux. Starting Tuesday (Editor's note: today), we will begin to stop at Place Chastel to drop off passengers and pick up those who are waiting there. We will continue to make a stop on rue Terrasse until the pole is moved by the municipal services," said Christian Sermèze, head of the UTU movement.
