Le pigeonnier du Breuil

Ce pigeonnier, ou fuie, abandonné faisait partie d'une importante maison noble, la seigneurie du Breuil. La tour, construite en moellons recouverts d'un enduit beige, est percée d'une porte basse ouverte au nord. L'intérieur du pigeonnier est garni de niches sur 5 étages de 4 niveaux chacun, chaque étage étant séparé par une corniche en saillie. Ce pigeonnier pouvait héberger 2000 oiseaux.
The dovecote of Breuil
This abandoned dovecote, or fuie, was part of an important noble house, the seigneury of Breuil. The tower, built of rubble stone covered with beige plaster, has a low door opening to the north. The interior of the dovecote is lined with niches on 5 floors of 4 levels each, each floor being separated by a projecting cornice. This dovecote could house 2000 birds.
